March 29, the Staff Meeting of SWJTU-Leeds Joint School, 2021-2022 Semester 2 was held in the newly-decorated lecture hall. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Zhu Yan, deputy Dean of the Joint School. JiangJiuwen,Party leader of the Joint School，briefed on the recent priorities of the School: promoting the teaching quality, building the practice and innovation center, upgrading the facilities and stepping up the higher-quality development of the Joint School.

Dariusz Wanatowski, Pro-Dean, introduced the new teaching and learning Strategy at the University of Leeds. Leeds University will carry out IT upgrading and curriculum redefined projects. He expressed thanks to all Chinese lecturers for their contribution to the Joint School.

Huang Tao, Pro-Dean, briefed on the recent teaching work of the Joint School, emphasizing the responsibilities of a shadow teacher in the online courses.

In Share-My-Teaching session, Prof. Zhang Zutao shared his practice in building the national first-class curriculum group and cultivation of innovative talents.

Dr. Yuan Yuchen shared his good, sincere and effective communication with students, believing that a teacher should understand his students’ learning difficulties and give them guidance.

Jin Zhongmin, Dean of the Joint School, extended in his concluding remarks thanks to all the academic and administrative staff. He strongly suggested module leaders from both sides should strengthen communication. He also encouraged lecturers to join or establish research teams and that the Joint School would provide full support for teaching and research.
