On 19th October, the meeting for academic tutors was held. The meeting, hosted by Zhao Duo, deputy dean of the Joint School, aims to enhance the tutors’ role in providing academic guidance to students as described in SWJTU-Leeds Joint School Academic Tutor Policy and exemplified in the Joint School’s TAFSS Supporting System. Zhao Duo introduced the TAFSS Supporting System and elaborated the academic tutor policy, asking the tutors to offer both academic and career guidance to the new cohort to promote their overall development. He also encouraged the tutors to participate in student activities and help improve student education. The meeting concluded with Zhao Duo presenting the certificate of appointment to the tutors.
