On March 13th, Jennifer Macdougall, external examiner of Engineering English visited SWJTU-Leeds Joint School. She participated in an in-depth discussion with the management team and Year One teachers on topics such as curriculum design, assessment, learning outcomes, language support and challenges in teaching brought by artificial intelligence.

Ms Macdougall had a talk with Year One students about their learning experience and reflections on the English teaching of the Joint School. She encouraged students to actively communicate with their teachers to jointly improve learning outcomes. After observing some English classes, she highly praised the teachers’ professional qualities and the students’ performance.
